At Michigan Rehab Consultant, PC, our physician-directed in-home wound care services provide specialized evaluation and treatment for patients with chronic, complex, or hard-to-heal wounds who may have difficulty traveling to a clinic.
Led by a board-certified physiatrist, our mobile wound care program may include bedside wound evaluation, debridement, advanced wound dressings, biologic grafts such as XWRAP, compression therapy, and customized wound care protocols based on each patient's condition and healing needs.
We treat a range of wounds, including diabetic foot ulcers, pressure injuries and bed sores, surgical wounds, vascular ulcers, and other chronic wounds. We also coordinate care with home health agencies, skilled nursing staff, caregivers, and other healthcare providers to help ensure consistent wound management and reduce the risk of complications.
Our goal is to bring specialized wound care directly to eligible patients in their homes or care facilities, providing convenient, physician-led treatment while supporting wound healing, preventing complications, and helping patients avoid unnecessary trips to the hospital.
